Welcome to AshCreek Longhorn Cattle Farm.We are located in a small community called Ramsey in Central /Southern IL., 1 Hour east of St. Louis Mo & just 2o miles north of I-70 on HWY 51.
Mike and I are not new to cattle or Longhorns. We have had them for many years. But in the past couple years we decided we wanted to get a GOOD bull for our grade herd of longhorns and I did a search and found Hank Besack in KS who had a bull just what we were looking for.,
So we packed up and off to KS to see Uno. Course was decided immediately he was the one. So Whelming Uno came home to our farm.
In the meantime , Uno being our first registered animal, Hank signed us up for the TLBAA membership and it was all downhill from there. We truly knew we wanted to better the breed and watch lines closely. Our goal is to breed the overall Longhorn for Horn, conformation, & bone. with a gentle temperment.
Most All our cattle are now Dual registered
